The course offers knowledge and skills needed in order to react in the unlikely case of an accident or emergency, designed for divers and non-divers alike. EFR is a prerequisite course for the Rescue Diver course, an intensive 8-hour class over the course of two days. |
Rescue divers learn to look beyond themselves in order to take into account the safety and well-being of other divers. To this end, the PADI Rescue Diver level is a required step in the path to professional diving.  |
